What is an Action Item in a RAID log?

There are always tasks which come up about your plan which don’t really belong in your plan. And as a project leader, it can sometimes feel like you have more to-do items outside your project plan than you have activities in the plan. So, a little organization can go a long way with these items. This is what your Action Items log is for. It’s the daily to-do list for your project and by extension, you as project lead. There is not a lot more to it than that – the Action Item list is just your massive ongoing project to-do list.

Some examples of RAID Action items
