Converting Risks to Issues

Ideally, your Risk Management is so amazing that most issues that occur on your project were foreseen through the risk management process and you already have a response plan ready. This of course is not always the case, but when it is, you need a method to ‘convert’ a Risk in your Risk log to an Issue in your Issue log. When using a spreadsheet for your RAID, this is typically accomplished by copying and pasting from the Risk log to the Issue tab. In more sophisticated RAID platforms there may be automation which simplifies the process for you. However you do it, you need to move actualized Risks over to the Issue log because they are managed differently.
