On the topic of resources, you can also create a Resource Calendar or a Resource Plan in your RACI matrix. Although, if you have a scheduling tool, that may be a better place to keep that information. Even so, it can be very handy to key resource dates like travel dates, vacation days, etc. in your RAID log. If you have an international project, this is a great place to track international holidays which can easily sneak up on you and impact your schedule.
Resource calendars and even entire resource plans can be managed in a RAID log if there is no other good place for the PM to keep this information. These can be in a calendar format, identifying personal vacations and observed holidays, or a more detailed resource plan like the illustration below.
