DEPENDENCES LOG

Below are the typical columns in the Dependencies log of a RAID log. 

Column Description
ID Unique ID for tracking 
Title Short title using cause and effect format: “X needs Y to occur, otherwise Z will happen”
State State of the dependency, denoting the lifecycle

  • Opened
  • Monitoring
  • Closed
Status Status (red/amber/green) of the RAID item, denoting whether it is on-track, at-risk or off-track.
Impact if not delivered Detailed description of impacts if the dependency is not met
Dependency type Internal / external to your project’s organization
Due date The date the dependency must be met, otherwise there will be negative impacts
Owner The person responsible for delivering the dependency
Dependency Update Running log of updates of status and progress for the item
