Preparing the next generation of project managers

At RAIDLOG, we’re excited to partner with universities to teach the next generation of project managers the essential skills needed to manage Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions (RAID). By integrating RAID practices into project management courses, we’re helping students build strong foundations to avoid common project pitfalls and reduce losses in the future.

Our aim is to provide future project managers with practical experience using top industry tools, like RAID Logs. Together, we can empower your students and set them up for lasting success!

Student Support

How does student Onboarding work?

We are excited to offer RAID Log curriculum integration for your courses, providing a hands-on learning experience for your students. Each course will have its own dedicated workspace within RAIDLOG.com, allowing students to fully engage with the platform as they learn.

As the instructor, you have full control over the start date and when students will receive their “Welcome to RAIDLOG” email, sent directly to their school email (.edu) addresses. This email will guide them through setting up their accounts with a simple password creation process. Throughout the semester, students will be able to follow along with your lessons, using RAIDLOG to apply the methodology in real time and gaining valuable experience with a project-saving system that’s widely used in the field.

Do students have access to Office Hours?

Absolutely! We encourage students to attend our **bi-weekly Office Hours** hosted by our Customer Support Manager, Tyler Feil. These sessions provide a unique opportunity for students to get live support, ask questions, and deepen their understanding of the RAID methodology.

RAIDLOG Office Hours are designed for users at all experience levels. Students can engage with real-world project challenges and see firsthand how RAIDLOG tackles risks, actions, issues, and decisions. Plus, with **new AI-driven features released every quarter**, students will stay at the forefront of project management trends and gain valuable skills using cutting-edge tools that are shaping the industry.

This is a great chance for students to learn and connect in a supportive environment while preparing for the future of project management!

A.I. Privacy

Current Features
  • Data is only sent to the AI when the student PM initiates it.

Future Features

The future AI features of RAIDLOG will have additional privacy options:

  • These features will always be opt-in. You will be able to enable or disable them for your classroom workspace.
  • Access to RAID items is walled-off by workspace:  other organizations or univeristies cannot see your students’ RAID items, nor will their AI be ‘educated’ on your data.
  • You will have your choice of multiple AI providers, and our plan is to have at least one of those providers be a sandboxed, private AI.
  • Our technical AI approach does not involve training an AI on your data. We use vector embeddings for semantic similarity searches, then interpret the results (Retrieval Augmented Generation). If you like you can read more about the technology here. To oversimplify, it is like a really smart search engine querying your data. The engine doesn’t know or remember your data, but it can intelligently search and interpret and present that data.

Please Note! This will be documented more formally when the features are released.
